She is a highly qualified Gynaecologist with over 20 years’ experience in obstetrics and gynaecology which has seen her help women across the globe in Bangladesh, Iran, United Kingdom and New Zea-land, before settling in Australia.

Fatima has worked with Queensland Health since 2006. She has worked as a Senior Staff Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist
at the Rockhampton Base Hospital for almost 7 years.
She has felt privileged and honoured to serve women living in rural communities through her work as a Flying Obstetrician
Gynaecologist, which has recently come to an end, to begin her work at Private practice.
